Steely-eyed

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a jackdaw at the fat ball feeder in our back garden before. This one was taking a rest after a bout of wing flapping whilst trying to get the newly added fat balls out of the wire enclosure. Earlier, before I filled it, there was a long tailed tit finishing off the remains of the last fatball, but as it was right inside the feeder, the photos I took were not great, it was however lovely to see.
, and hopefully it will come back tomorrow with some of it’s friends!
