Snowdrops

My sister reminded me the other day that we had bought some potted bulbs at Burton Agnes Hall in Yorkshire, when we visited in December, she mini irises, and I snowdrops. I had completely forgotten about them but found them hidden behind some other pots in the front garden, happily flowering away out of sight. I have now moved them to somewhere visible so that I can enjoy their pretty flowers then plant them in the ground once they have finished. I have tried growing snowdrops in our front garden several times and they have never succeeded, perhaps I will try the back garden or someone else’s garden altogether!
