Valnontey valley, Italy

This is the end point of our cross country ski from Cogne this afternoon. A grey day but it still looked stunning. We could see the glacier in the distance and a couple of frozen waterfalls.

First stop in Italy this morning was Aosta for coffee and focaccia. It was great to see it without hoards of other tourists. See extra.

Now in a studio/hotel in Lillaz for two nights.
