Walled
After a to-go breakfast of pastizzis from Champ on the square it was the ferry to Valletta and then, after a rather wonderful coffee stop in the Upper Barrakka Gardens, it was a local bus to the medieval walled city of Medina.
Very pleasant indeed just wandering around for a couple of hours, and with great views over the Maltese countryside.
Bus back to Valletta for some food and drink and general people-watching in the centre as well as exploring before the ferry back to our neck of the woods (Birgu) at sunset for some chill time at one
of the waterfront restaurants. We were alfresco, it was dark, it was chilly, they had the heaters out - sound as a pound!
It Sounded Like They Were Playing This Group In The Restaurant Tonight But I Could Be Wrong
