And Now For Something Completely Different ...

We have abandoned ship!  (Only for a few days though ...)

Today we hopped on a flight to Nairobi, Kenya where we are currently ensconced in abject luxury at the Hemingways Hotel (see extra).  Tomorrow morning we'll clamber aboard a small plane and fly to the Masai Mara for some safari adventures.  We're very excited, but also quite tired ... it's almost midnight, and we've only just now finished (a very late) dinner, and we have an early start in the morning, so it's off to my magnificent bed for me now!
