Blue sky (not the app)

I came out of a very dusty Walmart this afternoon to find blue sky and temperature above freezing. The temperature in the truck was 4 C. So I stopped at Sullivan's Pond on the way home to get a few photos. Lots of black ducks, mallards and gulls around, plus there were a few ring necked ducks on the far side of the open water.

Usually it is just the shelves in the stores that are dusty. The Walmart we were at today just reopened after being closed for 4 months. They were forced to close during the investigation into an employee's death, she was locked inside a walk in oven. It was never reported how she got locked into the oven. News releases did say her death was 'not suspicious'. The store was being renovated when it happened, and they decided to keep it closed until the renovations were complete. It reopened earlier in February. It is a much brighter looking store but nothing has changed, the staff still have their hiding places. Compared to Bedford, where a WM employee stayed in the area where we were working so she could update the prices, the only time I seen a WM employee today was when we started and when we finished. Apparently the hair color section was moved prior to the store closing, so it sat there collecting dust from the renovations. As far as I am concerned, it is still the worst WM in HRM.

Three more days of work. I think the staffing for them has been finalized.

More sunshine and a high temperature of +7 C for tomorrow.
