The kite flying field, Camping de Roos

I found the our first camp site entirely by chance when searching on line, but apparently it has made it to Cool Camping Europe, I suspect largely because of its eco friendly nature.

The camp site shop is stocked full of the most gorgeous organic foods, along with a whole stash of toys suited perfectly for little boys, like boomerangs and giant inflatable crocodiles (both of which were purchased!). On the edge of the site is a kite flying field which is perfect for frisbee and boomerang throwing and pound shop bow and arrows.

The one thing the kite flying field doesn't have, nor our pitch for that matter, is shade and with temperatures reaching 29/30 and the sunshine beating down I started to feel quite ill. I was so stressed about ensuring the littlest wasn't dehydrated I kept feeding him and think I underestimated how I'd need to drink as much as normal x 4 to keep hydrated enough for me and him!
