Oh dear

Just as she was back to her normal happy self...

Bean ripped her dew-claw this morning while chasing a rabbit across the aptly named Bunny Lawn. It was one of the claws which was compromised by the weird nail ailment she had before xmas, and it wasn't a big surprise that it shattered.

There was nothing for it but to take her to the vet. Again. She was sedated and the claw was removed. 

Here she is in the back of the car recovering from the procedure. 

She is strapped up for a couple of days and it is evidently uncomfortable and probably sore (despite pain relief).  

She is feeling sorry for herself. Hopefully it will feel a bit better in the morning. But I'm not sure how much sleep will be had tonight...
