OH, WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY...

...the sky is blue and the sun is shining, what’s not to like about today?  Because we are so busy at the moment, visiting, collecting, volunteering and delivering Bags of Hope, sometimes we need to take ourselves out of our home situation to chat, so we decided to go to Jack’s for coffee.  It was great to see Flo “back in harness” after being off for a few weeks and her usual insults weren’t quite as good as before, but she assures us they soon will be, bless her!

On the way, we took a lot of things to our favourite charity shop, DEBRA, some that our lovely Blip friend, Amanda_T gave us when we visited last week, and some that we had been collecting over the last few days.  Of course, they were pleased to see us and we bought a few bits and pieces, including another jigsaw puzzle, as if that lovely husband of mine hasn’t got enough!! ;-) 

We also bought some books and soft toys for the lovely Spanish family we have been visiting with Bags of Hope and took them round a bit later, on our way home - it is so good to see people’s faces when you bless them and it brings a warm feeling to one’s heart - how could it not?

On our way back to the car, I was looking towards our local Parish Church and thought it looked good in the sunshine, with the blue sky and fluffy clouds, so here it is - taken at some risk to myself, I might add, because I stood in the middle of the road to take this shot.  We are going to a wedding at this very church in a couple of weeks, so hope the weather is as perfect on that day.

It is so good to see the sunshine today and feel the warmth - I pray you will all have a good day weather-wise and that the sun will warm your souls and bring a smile to your face.  M xx
