Mystery items

I opened a new packet containing a suet block to stock the bird feeder.
My stock is kept in the garage, not the flat.

Inside the packet was this little cluster of….either eggs or droppings from some animal that bored its way into the packet.
I have spent far too much time trying to identify them, and my unconvincing final opinion is that they are the droppings of clothes moth larvae.

Perhaps you know better?
