Now we have everything

Day 8: The boy can make friends anywhere!

Love this ET-style picture of Charlie 'making contact' with the little boy in the seat in front of us on the plane back home.

Today was our last day, although we only really got to enjoy breakfast before it was 10:30am and time to get picked up by the coach and taken off to the airport.

Charlie was amazing again on the plane back. We even had strangers from a few rows back say as much when we rose to get off, 4+hours later! He fed, slept (though not much) and generally just played the whole time. I think it was all helped by the very good flight times Robin had arranged.

Getting through the airport was a breeze too. That's the good side of using a smaller airport like Luton. We took our time heading from the gate through to baggage reclaim (why does everyone practically run through those hallways??) and our bags were waiting for us, along with the beach umbrella that we stowed too- and frankly didn't expect to see again!

It's really muggy today but the shuttle to the car park arrived quickly and we were in the car and home again in a flash- within two hours of actually landing, which was amazing!

It's definitely nice to be home, but I must admit I've already had a little grumble about the heat ;)
