Get ‘em while you can

No apologies for yet another snowdrop shot on blip. They’re an uplifting, if fleeting, harbinger of spring. A sign that the long winter months of cold and dark are coming to an end and spring is around the corner.

A very enjoyable ukulele (and guitar) jam this morning with former band members. Quite like old times. The band ended last September while I was away in California. Continued technical issues disheartened our leader.

I really missed the buzz of playing with them in rehearsals and at gigs so I suggested we just jam. We did today. Quite like old times without the pressure of a performance. Susan came along with her guitar, joining in and having a great time too.

We’ve told them of our plans to move so these jams will be amongst the last. There’s another planned for April and we’d love to find similar groups in Cumbria in the future
