Boys day……

Caleb had an appointment with the GP today, advised to continue with Calpol as needed and make sure he drinks plenty.  Another day off school so he kept me company.  We did poo to the shops and picked up his lunch in M&S (he really enjoyed his sandwich).  

Collected Austin after school, pizza tea and then mummy collected early.

Out to a crochet group tonight - it’s a project a lady is doing very her Masters degree (she’s a textiles teacher).  It is related to the menopause.  She has come up with a variation on the temperature blanket - three different symptoms of the menopause: anxiety, sleep, brain fog.  Each symptom is then broken down to high, medium, low and represented by colours - anxiety, hues of pink, sleep, hues of blue; brain fog, hues of grey.  It’s for 5 week and we will all finish with different blocks.  Tonight was setting the foundation and starting our daily blocks (Monday-Wednesday this week).  Interesting project.
