Modernist Houses

This small  housing estate near me is renowned for its modernist design by Laurie Abbott in 1966, originally built to provide “affordable housing” sold on a part ownership basis.  They are also known as “upside down” houses as the kitchen and living area is on the first (middle) floor of these 3 bedroom residences.
