Ghostly glow
I took myself off to see if I could find a view looking West which didn't have too much light pollution. I was trying to see at least Venus and Saturn setting and while you can see Venus here, those clouds and too much light blocked any sighting of Saturn. Tomorrow night is supposed to be a good night for viewing and having said that, it will be cloudy for sure.
I am not sure what is going on with the glow in the middle. There is no obvious reason for it. This is an HDR and the sky is pretty true to what I saw but I can't explain why it would have that glow. This tree has fallen since I was last here. Perhaps it was the ghost.
What you can't see are the millions of mosquitoes that were after my blood so they only got half a pint before I got my spray and hoped I choked them and then took off.
Drumming tomorrow and week end. Hooray!
