Pink sky

We picked up Violet from school today and I had thought that I would post a pic of the forest (see Extras) but the sky was so beautiful tonight at sunset that I just had to take some (phone) rooftop photos  with the  clouds turn a wondrous shade of pink.

In other news: V is still keen on crochet and carries her crochet hook and wool everywhere with her.  I have yet to understand and and make rows rather than an endless chain so that I can show her but my thumb is still troubling me and I can't quite grasp what is happening in the countless videos that I've watched!
