Arctic circle tour

Today was a very long day. We boarded the train at Ostersund at 7 :30 bound for Vajkijaur, arrival 19:46. It was the Inlandsbanan tourist train which has several stops along the way for refreshments which are ore-ordered at the previous stop. A very good system that works. Lunch was game stew consisting of reindeer, moose and deer with lingonberry sauce and potatoes. Jury out on that one. Dinner was at Vajkijaur and I had smoked char. Locally caught river shark which was smoked by the restaurant . It tasted and looked very much like trout. Mr G had a reindeer burger.
From here we transferred by coach to Jokkmokk, arriving late
The shots are mr G at the arctic circle ( roughly) which apparently moves 14 cm per year due the earths axis and movements and a very large white tailed bee which was at one of the stops.
