Wild Wednesday ...

... Fun at the Zoo.

I put the rented lens (28-400mm) to the test today by going to the Lehigh Valley Zoo.  It was Full house and I took a Fair amount of pictures  ... although some of the animals are being kept behind the scenes to protect them from the avian Flu.

A couple of years ago I took one of my all time Favorite photos of this same zebra against the Fence.  I've been wanting to duplicate that ever since but the opportunity never arose ... until today!  The zoo has two Grant's Zebras but I can tell this is the same one by her markings.  The other is also a female and their names are Glenda and Riley ... not sure which is which though.  Please have a look Full screen.

We had a Fantastic time and like I said I took a lot of photos.  I've added into Extras a Fine collage of just some of those pictures.  Also in the collage is a selfie I took this morning whilst in the greenhouse.  I wanted to test the lens at the 28mm Focal range.  Not bad.
