A Day At A Time.

Castaway

Our early morning walks are very special. The sun is just rising, the beach is deserted apart from a few fishermen and fellow dog walkers, and the sea is warm and refreshing.

But today, I left my flip-flops, dog lead and towel next to one of yesterday's sand castles and went off down the beach with Buster.

We met a couple of new friends and chatted and played for a while and then I returned intending to have a dip.

Imagine my surprise to find my flip-flops where I had left them - but no towel or lead! And there had been so few people on the beach that it is hard to know who might have taken them.

Oh well. We all learn somehow!

Still had a lovely swim though.

Just had to drip dry.
