Through the oblong window today…
At M&S. certain age profiles, either us pensioners or groups of young mothers with babies. All very busy. I overheard a couple of older ladies talking about how difficult it was to park.
A busy day which started early with a trip to the garage to take the car for a service from where we walked to M&S then home. All good when we collected it after lunch.
A couple of hours at the allotment this afternoon saw the completion of a major task. It’s looking good for the time of year.
An interesting response to my rant about chocolate submarines. Even responsible dog owners are aghast at the bad press of irresponsible owners.
I had a great result the other day. Those with long memories may recall I bought tickets to travel by ferry to Orkney only to find I was charged twice. A whole load of shenanigans later involving the Bank, Financial Ombudsman ended with a letter to the Managing Director of the ferry company
Which brought about a full and unequivocal apology and a result: my erroneous second payment was refunded and also the original payment as a gesture of goodwill. Yessss! Punches the air!
