Twenty shades of red

So much fixing other people's problems again, and then for a change trying to fix my own problems. After that I had no more brain left and called it a day, but I had done my hours anyway.

I remembered that I had never finished mending a spare body panel for the Africa Twin. One end was broken off and I'd made a start years ago but I think I ran out of the liquid ABS I was using. But I discovered an alternative so will have a go here and there and see if I can fashion a repair. So I cycled out to Halfords to look for paint that might match. I only had to compare at least 20 different varieties but I think I got something pretty close. I still have to do the same for the blue petrol tank but that's for another day.

It was freezing cold but at least it was nice to be back on my little purple recumbent bike. And it was dark by the time I rode home. This yet-another-night time shot is the only photo I took today.

Apparrently my ribs are not completely better yet, as they are still feeling a bit bruised.
