A Night Heron of the Juvenile Variety

A double celebration for me today. My birthday (72) and my 5,000th blip. 5,000 pictures posted. Whoa!

I had a good day. A picture-taking sunrise, a 3 mile walk with my friend Keith, a little shopping with Lisa, and then supper with 6 of us with Cindy A. making the main course and Cindy C. bringing the cake. Delicious.

I've had an up and down Blip "career". In the first 10 years, I went through with only one miss. But, in the last couple of years, with my stomach issues, some days the last thing I wanted to do was take a picture.

I am still dealing with some mechanical issues and am continually getting used to the colostomy bag on my belly, BUT...physically I am feeling much better...feeling like my old self, which I have been waiting for.

Thanks to all who have stayed with me, even tho' it feels like I haven't been around for over a year. You're a great bunch of blippers.
