More Jerry Rigging

Although my repurposing of the cat feeder to a bird feeder is working perfectly there is one snag.  Since it is on the decking the squirrels are hogging it and the poor birds are having a hard time.  What to do?  I found a makeshift cover for the hanging feeder (the real one is buried in snow and ice now) and it works a charm!  In another month or so it will have to be taken down anyway as the bears will be awakening from their long winter nap and looking for food.  So, for now this will have to do.  Economic blackout today in the US as we try to send a message to the oligarchs.  It is the first of many in the coming months.  Pinch 'em 'til they squeal!
