Nest building

Today I went to Clausentum Fen and watched a pair of long-tailed tits building their nest in this conifer (it's just out of sight behind that curtain of branches).  They seemed to be collecting the nesting material you can see in this one's beak from between the planks and under the roofing felt of a nearby shed (see extra).  Do you suppose they're using fibreglass insulation?

Thank you for all your very kind comments about my rather cranky health at the moment.  I'm sure it will pull itself together pretty soon.  Meanwhile I'm walking less and taking public transport more which seems to work.
