First pruning of 2025.

I cutback an adjacent euonymus bush to let this pink rhododendron thrive. And did some general tidying in the back garden.

My wife reduced a big pile of cuttings to a size suitable for recycling. A neighbour had previously rumped down a large jaggy berberis bush for us, (this let me in to repair our Storm Elowyn damaged fence recently).

We’d lunch outside, (well really it was tea and toast), but that’s okay. Sun was shining.

Late afternoon we’d a walk in town, St Andrews was quiet. A lovely blue sky.

Spoke to our younger son, who sustained an injury at rugby training on Tuesday. A bit better, no game for him this weekend. Physio next week.
