Lazy day

Been having a lazy one today. Mostly telly watching and lying down.
I have done a bit of tidying and some cooking but very little else.
The boys on the other hand have had a very super squirmy day but seem to have calmed down in there finally. It's good to feel them moving around but some days it's so uncomfortable as they don't have much room.

Pudding has now decided the rocking chair is her designated sleeping location and the pile of coats on it don't really matter (as can be seen). I think the impending arrivals are having an effect upon her as she has taken to spending a lots more time in very close proximity to me. We might have some problems when they actually arrive.

Well there is another impending arrival on the horizon (well in 6 months) found out today that another friend (more an friend of a friend now a days) is having her second baby! They are everywhere lol

Day two of actual maternity leave and the MIL phone calls have started. I luckily didn't answer as I was in the bath and I don't answer the house phone in the day as 9 times out of 10 it's a cold caller and I can't be arsed to deal with them.

I really didn't want to have the are you ok? Is there anything you need? Do you want me to make you lunch/pop up or some other crap!! Unfortunately MIL doesn't quiet get the fact I don't like fuss (even after 7 years), the fact in only pregnant not ill, and that if I need anything it won't be her I'll be asking to get it, she far far down the list.

People keep on saying you'll be grateful for here help when the babies are here! That won't be the case I can tell you that for a fact now, she won't listen to what we want or how we want to try to do things as she will know best (she's not been round a newborn for 28 years and never newborn twins!) think I'll stick to advice from people who've had babies in this last decade!

Sorry to moan she just winds me up some days especially when I'm trying to stay calm and relaxed in these last few weeks before chaos begins and remains for the next 18 years!
