That machine again

Arnie was back for what he thought was just a check up but it turned out that his eye was to have the final laser treatment following the removal of the cataract.

It didn’t go as well as the ophthalmologist had hoped and it left Arnie feeling a bit down as it was emphasized yet again that his eye is in a very delicate state as the cornea is extremely thin.

We took ourselves off to Franks a bit later, and with the company of Sue, the great sense of humour of our waiter, we went home again in a much more positive mood.
