Kitchen Day 5

FRIDAY

Paul and Huw continued to work on the new kitchen and utility room. The integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are now fitted in position with all doors and handles in place, but only the fridge and freezer are operational. Work is now suspended pending visits from the worktop and flooring contractors next week.

This afternoon I had a nice walk in the sunshine to the top of Y Graig Nature Reserve.

With limited cooking and washing-up facilities we opted for a fish and chip takeaway from the village pub this evening.

Disgraceful behaviour from the other side of the Atlantic this evening. What is the world coming to?
