A kestrel searching for prey

I was surprised when this kestrel flew past my eyeline and it took me a couple of seconds to try to focus on it as it flew at speed. I was also nearly looking into the sun. 

I wasn't sure I'd recorded it, so when I spotted it banking then turning into the slight breeze, I realised it was about to hover. I managed to get a few frames of it as it held this stationary position, which I've added as an 'Extra', although now I'm not sure which I should have had as my main image. It is interesting to compare the positions of the wings, tail and feathers in the two scenarios.
