Misty start

Apart from the beautiful birdsong, it was very quiet and peaceful on our walk in the morning. That is, until we got closer to the open sea. There seemed to be an increasing roaring noise as if waves were pounding the coastline, and yet the loch was calm. When we reached a point where we had a limited view of the sea we could see white waves crashing on the offshore rocks but not enough to make the noise I was hearing. It remains a mystery.
The light mist gradually lifted and it turned into a lovely day. I spent a few hours in the garden, weeding and tidying the borders. I enjoyed this first day of meteorological spring.
