Sunny Saturday afternoon

Not much happened today. Your Gal had quite the stonking lie-in though and that was required. After a thorough delouse in the shower it was decreed that Shadow needed a walk and that some fresh may also do youngest some good after being stuck in for a few days with a bad cold.

We all went to Etherow Park and started with the best of intentions but the paths were busy, not helping her anxiety much and the cold bug giving her a headache. The stroll got as far as the waterfall but was in hindsight a bad idea. Maybe on a weekday when quieter but not on a sunny Spring Saturday. She was calmer once back at the car and upon arriving home tottered off to bed with a hot beechams to clear her head. Shadow on the other hand (paw) had a dunk in the bath. She is now less whiffy and her coat more presentable ;-D

I managed a picture of one of the sluices from between the river above the waterfall and the canal pound it feeds but otherwise none so that's my Saturday Blip.

Am now relaxing in the quiet of the back room after another stroll to the Co op, catching up with some laptop stuff and looking forward to a video-natter with the Bestie.
