Dwarf Iris
Golly gosh, meteorological Spring. The days are getting brighter and longer. Snowdrops and crocuses still abound, daffodils are threatening to burst out. There's a little more frog spawn in the pond but I haven't been able to spot any frogs yet.
I photographed some flowers we bought at Staunton Harold garden centre the other day, then Basil and I Cecilied down to Garendon Park. Nothing new to see but getting out was good. On the way back up Coach Road we bumped into Gillian who I hadn't seen in ages and then on Fairway Road the lady who had rescued Basil last year when he ran away from me. I was able to thank her profusely.
I do let Basil off his lead on the estate now but only when there are no dogs in sight. He tends to walk by the scooter anyway rather than goof around, through choice.
Len went to play tennis.
