Saturday Night

A much busier day today. A good workout in the gym this morning and then shopping, library and a coffee this afternoon.
Highlight of the day was going to the Brewery Arts Centre tonight, to see the comedian Zoe Lyons. Photography strictly prohibited during the performance, so you’ll have to settle for shot of the flyer!
I don’t recall much publicity for this gig, which might explain how we managed to get really good seats despite only booking a couple of weeks ago. Having said that, it was sold out by tonight.
And a very entertaining evening it was too. Nice little support slot - quite funny, but delivery was a little rushed. Possibly because we were a bit late starting? After the interval, Zoe gave us an excellent set and we were laughing throughout. Very much observational humour - which is what I like best - covering a wide range of topics.
We definitely have the best of both worlds here in Kendal - quiet country living on the edge of the English Lake District yet we still get the big names coming here to entertain us…
