Testing and updating

Plans are to go drone flying with Ron and Peter tomorrow. So first some wing replacement and updating had to take place.
My last flight was in the Lake District last December and somehow that didn’t go too well. Something happened while flying and I almost couldn’t get it back to me. It landed in huge circles on 3 wings. In short: I crashed.
But after replacing the wings and arguing somewhat with the controller I managed to get it up in the air again.

It feels like this drone has had its best time by now. It’s an oldie already, from 2018.
I’m considering buying a new one. The smaller DJI Mini Pro 4.
Also because my flying license expires in 2026 and I don’t want to do and pay another exam.
The Mini doesn’t require a license.

Anyways, tomorrow will be another test for this old flying machine.
