Bus Challenge No 242

The Crammer, Devizes 

Frost still on the ground when I set off on the first bus of the day to visit Dad this morning. Chilly in the shade but, wrapped up warm, he enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden. 

Left Dad to have his lunch and took a second bus into Bath then a third bus that took a scenic route through the villages of Wiltshire to Devizes where E was waiting for me. Can't believe it's nearly two years since I last visited the family.

Back to the house to have lunch with Little E and Little I (except at 12 and 15 I can't really call them little anymore!). I then went off with her mum to compete in a swimming gala and her dad and I set off on a 4mile round walk to a canalside pub to make the most of the beautiful afternoon. So many historic buildings in Devizes, and such beautiful reflections along the canal.

Back to the house for a family evening meal then a long overdue catch-up for the adults over a glass of red.
