Orla & Conor

Fun on the Sofa at West Winds

This afternoon we took a trip to Temple Newsam, a stately home and grounds in the outskirts of Leeds. It was the birthplace of Lord Darnley in the 16th century and the grounds were landscaped by Capability Brown in the 18th century. There's loads to see and do, but today we focused in the farm, the cafe and the play area. Orla's favourite animals were the donkeys. Grandma is out at orchestra tonight and Ed and his dad have gone to the pub. So it's 8pm and Orla, Conor and I are all in bed! Conor has been a bit unsettled today, by his standards. I think he might be teething.
