Dipper Spotting

Several friends had mentioned that the dipper had been seen on the low falls in Goit Stock so friend Helen, who arrived for a walk this morning, was very happy to take a route along the valley to the waterfalls with the hope of spotting one, and we were fortunate to see this one on its rock.  It's not the sharpest blip being some distance away and with my less good lens, but it was just great to see it.

Much catching up took place and an unspoken understanding to avoid certain World subjects in favour of the good things happening in our lives.  On the way back from Hallas Bridge, we diverted to the garden centre and some refreshments in the cafe.

I'm now having something of a lazy afternoon.
