Keeping Cool

This Sparrow and Cape Weaver were two of many birds who enjoyed the bird bath today. It's been a hot day and windy at times.
My usual aqua aerobics thus morning and then Pumpkin had a visit to the vet for her pedicure and an injection for her itch...why do my dogs always itch - the vets put it down to the weather, change in seasons, grass  etc etc. Pumpkin's itch is not too bad though, and I am pleased that Coda's itchy skin is under control.   Coda is as hungry as ever today after consuming all the dog biscuits yesterday!!! Labradors just don't know when they've had enough.
I've taken the lounge curtains down and tomorrow is curtain washing day - it's going to be another hot day.
