Bluebird

With the news of Jack Vettriano’s passing announced today, I thought a photo of my print of his work “Bluebird at Bonneville” was appropriate.
I wasn’t really a fan of “The Singing Butler” - reportedly the best selling image in Britain - but I did like his artistic style. So I was interested when prints of his series of paintings commemorating the life of Sir Malcolm Campbell were made available.
The original painting sold for nearly £0.5M in 2007. I’m pleased to say my small framed print was considerably less than that!
Last week of rehearsals before we get into the theatre. We have been promised “late finishes” so I’m posting this as an early blip. Which means there may be a rehearsal scene from this evening for tomorrow’s blip…
