A Very Fun Day!

When I went to Mexico in January, you might remember that I found a house sitter to take care of my kitties and my house. She was amazing! Her husband wasn't able to join her, but I met up with them afterwards. They've been house-sitting in the area, and are currently in Woodland, WA, about an hour from my house...on the Columbia River. She suggested that I drive up for a visit and she and her husband would make me lunch - the owners of the house (and dog and cats) that they're house-sitting for said they could have friends visit. So I did!

We had a marvelous lunch, veggies, rice and steak on the bbq. And the daffodils...my goodness. There are literally thousands of them! So we picked a big bunch for me to take home! The fragrance is intoxicating!
