The Rotters Club

Worked a short day today mainly because I was starting to get another headache, and partly following a really good lie-in that was itself a consequence of a very long, very late night video chat with you know who.

At lunchtime I had delved into my box of motorbike spares and was delighted to discover I had two spare radiators.  Fortunately, but also strangely, they were both for the left hand side.  Past me made some useful and wise purchases!

It was already late afternoon but I set to work, and after draining the coolant it wasn't long before I had the old crumbly radiator off the bike, and not much longer again before I had the new (well, just about) one installed and plumbed in.  The old one, which is itself a replacement for the original, is pinholey and fit for the bucket.

By then it was dark and since I was just doing this outside I stopped short of flushing the engine and refilling with new coolant and called it a night. It won't take long to do when I come back to it.

A quick tea beckoned and then time to pack for an office day tomorrow.
