The Seal Of Approval

The Tiny Tuesday theme is " Animal ".   Neither Tino or Lily were willing to be blip models today so I had to look elsewhere.  My brother Colin gave me this " Seal of Approval " when he came here recently.  I already have a smaller seal that he gave me a few years ago... but this new one is a bit bigger and it sits on a piece of wood which Colin carved himself.  He used a Japanese wood burning technique to char it and then he varnished it.  He's used the same technique on the cat tree he's building. This morning he sent a photo of some more " Seals of Approval "  he's just made  - he used some of the wood from my fallen lilac.  He likes to make them to give out to friends and anyone he thinks has done a good job. He gave one to his GP a while back and she has it on a shelf in her consulting room.  Thanks to jensphotos for hosting the challenge.

Had a nice long sleep and got up late today. Put on a load of washing. Later on I walked down to the village to collect a Vinted parcel ( 3 T Shirts ) and do some food shopping in Herons ( Tesco is still closed ).  The weather was dry but very cold and windy.
