Essential maintenance

I think I might need some of that myself. This is workmen replacing or securing panels on our local Hilton. They blow off when it gets windy. Design fault.

Watched "Anatomy of a Fall" today. Excellent film. Two and a half hours of twisting, painful, brilliant drama. 

Cooked supper for five tonight, then we did pancakes. I never toss, just flip. Went well. Made an apple sauce with tuaca in it to go with them. 

Reading "You dreamed of Empires" at the moment. Very good. A Game of Thrones riff on the 16th century meeting between Cortez and Montezuma. Quite funny but the names are challenging. Tlilpotonqui. King Netzahualcoyotl. Cuauhtemoc. And many more like these. And lots of bodily functions and casual killing.
