Three stags!

We were on the way to fetch V from school today when I spotted not one, but three stags feeding at the top of our road.  The deer are usually seen here only at night as coming across to this patch of Epping Forest involves crossing a busy road.  It was such a treat to see them and I took several photos from the car but only with my phone.  I have given the main photo a poster effect for definition.
In other news: today is Shrove Tuesday so we served pancakes for Violet's 'healthy snack' :-))
