Selva

We had another wonderful day, not too strenuous, enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. We went over to Selva Gardena. It was very warm at the restaurant where we had lunch. We shared a table with some Canadians from our hotel. Had an interesting discussion about the situation with their southerly  neighbours!
Suffice to say they are very very angry, but they’re on holiday and trying not to think about it until they get back.

In the extra, if you look closely, just above the red gondola in the cleft in the rocks you can see a Via Ferrata bridge, probably left over from World War1 they were a means of getting around the mountains. 
Still used for recreational climbing.
