Monarch’s Way

For our afternoon walk we met B at Wooten Wawen and started off by the canal. Then we crossed the bridge and went down the Monarch’s Way footpath through the woods. Some of the trees are old and the branches are twisty and turney. We found an old fallen branch to sit on for our snack. The weather was warm and sunny. The heron was sitting very still in one of the fields. Back home now, the dogs are snoozing. Another photo in extras.
