N T Oxburgh Hall

Today we went to National Trust Oxburgh Hall we have been many times over the years. The last few times we have been access was very limited as they have been doing major renovations. We have done the guided garden tour a couple of times but have now started an external house tour including lots of the building and family history 
We had a snack and coffee then went around the inside, so much to see. I found the embroidery panels in the extra so interesting they were made by Mary Queen of Scots while a prisoner At Fotheringhay. They depict lots of birds and animals as they thought they looked at that time when they had never been seen in the flesh 
Home mid afternoon lovely to sit and read and enjoy the sun
