Tentative Roots

...where the river flows.

I had the chance tonight to get out for a long, invigorating & renewing walk along the Ruhr. Water seems to root me, as odd as that sounds. I feel at peace on the banks of a river. After nearly 2 years I still struggle to some extent with calling this place home... but when I'm on the river, I feel as close to home as I can be, I think. And it feels good - I'm glad to be here :)
