The Northern Lights of Reykjavik

But not the lights we'd hoped to see!

P"s husband kindly gave us lift to Bristol Airport. Flight to Keflavik. Airport bus into city. Checked into hotel 8pm. Left at 9pm & came out to find it snowing lightly. Joined tour bus 9.30pm. Drove out of city & stopped at 3 different spots. There were the vaguest of glimpses of the aurora but nothing that my camera could capture. People with iPhones were picking up green haze. The guide said the night before they'd been brilliant! Back to hotel 2am, to bed 2.30am very disappointed.
