Good one

Utterly fantastic weather - beyond warm, and gloriously sunny all day. Wow upon wow. Daytime activities in a cheery mood included completing proof reading Simon's new book manuscript, (almost no chores - they can wait) and a lovely two hour walk with the woofer to all the usual places. 

Simon called around 4pm to discuss and collect his manuscript and give me a thank you bottle of wine :) Early evening saw the arrival of bro, niece and nephew just briefly, because by 19.15 I was in the Two Brewers pub for this month's Book Club. Our book today was Claire Keegan's "Small Things Like These" which gave rise to a particularly vibrant discussion on the broader topic of the story. I enjoy this group so much - we always have such great discussions. 

Home by 10.00 and I could have done tonight's tutorial in Sketch Week which had run live at 19.30 but I was too tired. The sketching tutorial will probably have to wait until the weekend as I am in London tomorrow.
